WWC86

I happened upon the Watercooler Wednesday challenge, and just loved it!!

My card headed to the "Harvest" option of the challenge.

I have had this set for a while now.  It is from Our Craft Lounge and is called Bountiful Harvest.

The challenge called for simple stamping, no added embellishments, no extra layers.... I did mask off my barrel of corn, so my stalks are behind it, but other than that, it it just plain old stamping and coloring.  The images are stamped in Chocolate Chip on Very Vanilla cardstock. They are colored in with my copics and Stampin Up markers. The card base is Crushed Curry.

I love the idea of this challenge, and really like how this turned out.  Thank you WWC, for the inspiration!!

Happy crafting!!
Lisa

  1. Thanks so much for the kind words, Lisa. Funny about the set you used for the challenge. I bought that a couple of years ago because I wanted to stamp a scrapbooking page because we had all visited a corn maze. So, of course, I love the stamp you used. Great job staying within the parameters of the challenge. The masking is perfect as is the colouring. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

    1. A crafty friend was selling some of her stamps, and I told her I would take "anything she had with a tractor in it".....which is how I ended up with this set. This is the first time I have inked it up, and I am glad I got it. It sure is cute!! Thanks for the kind words about my card.. :)

  2. Wonderful card, Lisa! I really appreciate it as I live in Iowa and corn is a big thing here. You did a great job of showing what simply stamping is all about. Thanks for joining us this week at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges. I hope to see you again.
