Summer is here!!  YAY!!
And, after way more than our share of rain, northern Wisconsin actually got some sunshine today!!

This week's challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper is all about summer fun.
I have never been a beach goer. My idea of summer fun is being in a boat, or a campsite, or on a hiking trail......

The base of my card is Pool Party cardstock.  I ran the top half of the card through the Big Shot with the new Ruffled embossing folder.  Not only does it make pretty ruffles, it make pretty waves!!

The image is from Great Impressions, the sentiment is from Hero Arts.  I colored the image with my Copics, and wound some sparkly, multi-colored twine around the base before adhering the stamped images with dimensionals.  The fishy paper clip in the top corner is something I found in a drawer.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you will join us by posting a card about your idea of summer fun!!

Make it a great day!

Hello!!!
Thanks for stopping by to check out this week's challenge!!

This week we have a color challenge for you....

The colors we needed to use are lime green, indigo, and berry......and then add a metallic.
I added metallic with the use of some silver metallic paper.  The image and sentiment are from Unity Stamp Company. The set is called 'Lux Girl'.  I colored it in using my copics in colors most similar to the requirements.  I finished off with a few dots.

Hope you can find some time to join us!!

Have a great week.

SIP103sketch

Hi there!! Thanks for stopping by!!
We are in the middle of some loud thunderstorms, and I have two dogs that don't care for thunder, so this will be a short post....  :(

This week's challenge is a nice, simple sketch.
Titus needed a Father's Day card to send to his son, so I used the sketch for that.

This seemed appropriate, and Titus approved, so..........

The card base is Cherry Cobbler, as is the larger sentiment from MFT stamps.  The small sentiment (from Teeny Tiny Wishes), in Crumb Cake, is from Stampin Up, as is the guitar (from Country Livin').  The background is sponged in those colors using a mask from SU's Happy Patterns.  I added a piece of twine, and done!!

Please join us if you can!!!

Now back to hugging my dogs....

Have a great week!!
Hug your pets,

SIP102cheers

Thanks for stopping by to check out my design team card for this week's Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge!!

This week we have a "Masculine" card theme.....and I happen to have a brother with a birthday coming up. And my brother happens to like beer.  lol

I enjoy making punch art. I had seen something similar on Pinterest, but it was a big mug, and I wasn't sure how to make the gold strips for the mug. Then I had the thought to make it a smaller mug, using the SU Word Window punch, and I was off!!  The "foam" on the top is made with the clouds from the Lawn Fawn set "Spring Showers". I cut a strip of white card stock to fit the three gold strips, and sponged the edges of that piece, the clouds, and the gold strips.

The mug handles were made with two circle punches - 1 1/2" and 1".

The sentiment is from SU's "Greetings" thinlit dies. I adhered my mugs of beer to a piece of Tip Top Taupe dsp, and put it on a matching base.  Stuck on a few sequins to finish it off.

This was my first attempt, didn't like it so much.....

I hope my brother likes it.  I may attach it to a six pack....he would like that!!

Hope you can find some time to join us!!
