SIP123sketch

Hello!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by.

This is, surprise...surprise, not my original idea for this week's sketch.
But, when I went to make my card, I couldn't find the framelits I wanted to use. So that meant going back to the drawing board, and doing so quickly, as I didn't realize it was getting late, and my link was due!!

The card base is Old Olive. The white layer I ran through a snowflake filled embossing folder. The dsp is from a retired SU Christmas collection, I believe. The Cherry Cobbler swirly swirl is cut out using the Swirly Scribbles framelits. and the penguin and sentiment are from 'pebbles'.

I was inspired to use this sentiment because I wore up to THIS on Saturday morning....

Yuk.  Winter seems to be coming early to northern Wisconsin.

It s such a fun sketch!!  I hope you can find some time to make something to share with us.  IF I come across my tree framelits, I may try my original idea.  lol

SIP122washi

Hello!!!
Thanks for checking out my post for challenge #122 at Stamp, Ink, Paper.
This week washi tape is in the spotlight.  I must admit that I don't think to use washi much, but I do have about two dozen rolls of it for some reason, so luckily I was prepared!!  lol

I am in Christmas mode, as I am getting ready for a craft fair, so that made my choice of washi easy.
I used the Perfect Pines framelits (SU) to cut the tree and star. The stitched oval is from Gina Steimel.  The sentiment is from Better Together (SU).

The oval is pooped up with some foam squares.

Can't wait to see what you come up with using your washi.  Perhaps you will inspire me to use mine more!!

Have a great week.

Thanks for stopping by to check out this week's card for Stamp, Ink, Paper!
We have a tic-tac-toe board to go by this week, and I am hoping that my pine cones and needles count as "wood" on the board!!  :)

I love all things Christmas, and, since I am sick and feel like poo, I thought making something Christmas related would cheer me up.
IT hasn't worked yet, but that may just be lack of sleep and all the meds I took.

The colors are Mossy Meadow and Chocolate Chip on Very Vanilla paper.
I cut the sentiment in Mossy Meadow and in Very Vanilla and layered them.
If you have any other questions, just leave a comment or message me on facebook...... I am off to sleep!!

SIP120limeorangeblack

Welcome to this week's challenge for Stamp, Ink, Paper!!

We have some fun colors for you to work with this week...
I mean, who doesn't love lime??  Well, I do!!  :)

Combine that with orange and black, and my mind went right to Halloween.
I am not a big fan of Halloween, but HAD to have this cute Cookie Cutter Halloween set from Stampin Up last year.  I hadn't inked up anything ut the scarecrow in the set, so I thought it was a good time to break out some of the other characters....

The base is a piece of random orange cardstock purchased at a local scrapping store that is sadly going out of business. :(  I made the background by inking up the eraser on my pencil in Lemon Lime Twist and Pumpkin Pie ink and tapping it all over the paper.  The spidery sentiment is from Great Impressions.

I hope you an find time to join in this week's challenge.

Make it a great week.

SIP119daisy

This week at Stamp,Ink, Paper we have a Cardmaker's Choice for you.
It's nice to have free reign when you have a project in mind for someone special.  I have an aunt that just helped me out with something that has been stressing me out for over a month.  I needed a pretty card to send her my thanks, so here it is......

I also got to play with my new Daisy stamp set and punch sent to me by the always awesome Andrea Tracy-Tucker!! I have a feeling this set is going to get a lot of use in the coming weeks!

The colors I used were Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, and Pear Pizzazz.  I also used my stitched shapes from Gina Steimel.

Hope you enjoy what I have made.  I like how colorful and cheerful it is.

Please take a moment to join in this week's challenge by sharing whatever you have chosen to create!!  Just click on the image below to be taken to the challenge page......

Make it a great, crafty day.
