SIP58sketch

Once again, we have a sketch challenge for you this week!!

I can't get enough of sketch challenges. Just LOVE em!!

My card base is Bermuda Bay, the dsp layer is from he Serene Scenery dsp stack (which I love).  I cut out a tag using Very Vanilla, and stamped a little background on it with some Swirly Scribbles.  I originally left the tag blank, but it looked like it needed a little sumthin.  I also outlined the tag with my Bermuda Bay marker.

The flower and sentiment are Crushed Curry, sentiment stamped in black. The "love " and flower are from Sunshine Wishes Dies. The tag is adhered with dimensionals, and I glued on a few sequins.

And, yes, I liked the sketch so much.... I did a spare!!  lol   It was a good excuse to stay sitting at my desk in front of my fan.....it is MEGA hot here in northern Wisconsin.

Hope you can find some time to join in this week's challenge!!
Thank you for stopping by!!

Make it a great day!!!

SIPb&w

Welcome to this week's Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge!!

What do you get when you ask someone from Wisconsin to make a black and white card??  You get a card with a cow!!  lol

The fence and barn in background are from "The Barnyard" by Our Craft Lounge.
The cow and sentiment are from A Muse Artstamps. Everything is stamped in Memento black on white paper. The dsp layers are some I found in my stash. The layers are all cut out with my Gina Steimel stitched dies, and are layered on a black base.  I fussy cut the cow, and popped her up with a dimensional.

She is so cute...... and the sentiment make me smile.  I have just the person in mind to send this to, so in the mail it will go......

Thanks for stopping by!!  Hope you can find some time to join in this week's challenge!!

Make it a great day!!

SIP56 Christmas

Welcome to Christmas in July!!

I love Christmas!!  I was hoping as I made my card, I would feel cooler.  It is 87 degrees, in the shade, here in the northwoods.  Yuk!!  It didn't work, though......it is still muggy and sticky.  Maybe I should have used a snowy theme!!  :)

But, I just had to use this adorable tree...... so no snow.

The base is Mossy Meadow, which I had to stock up on before it was discontinued, cuz I love it!!
The dsp is from the Cozy Christmas collection from last year, I believe.  The image and sentiment are from Unity Stamp Co. and is called "Small Stuff Christmas".  I stamped them in Chocolate Chip.

Did a little coloring with my markers, and there you have it!!  :)

Only 165 days til Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SIP55

Welcome the this week's challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper!!

As anyone who knows me will tell you, sketch challenges are my FAVORITE!!!  :)
And this one is a fun one!!

Three of my favorite men have birthdays in July. My "other half", my little brother (who, at 35, isn't so little anymore), and my Uncle Butch.

This card will go in the mail tomorrow, so it gets to my uncle by the weekend.....

I purchased this stamp with my uncle in mind.  For as long as I can remember, he has helped us with our firewood.  He also used to cut his own, but now just cuts it to sell from his yard.

The card base is Chocolate Chip, the dsp from the Adventure Stack from a few years back. The piece with the sentiment is Baked Brown Sugar. The sentiment and image are stamped in Choc Chip.  The company name on the end of the stamp is Hannahstamps.com

A little story behind the coffee can.....  So, I was raised in the tiny, tiny town of Butternut, WI. Therefore, for some reason, I am inclined to collect Butternut coffee cans.  Silly, I know.  Titus was peddling his crafts at the local flee market last week and found this cute lil guy.  I just LOVE it!!  I kinda want to crack it open to see the coupon, and to see if the coffee still smells like coffee after all these years!!  lol   So far, I have restrained myself.  So far......

Please take a moment to join this week's challenge.
Make it a great week!!
