Thanks for stopping by to check out challenge #50 at Stamp, Ink, Paper!!
As I have often stated.... I love sketch challenges. They are SO my favorite!!! So, as usual, I didn't stop at one card with this one. :)
This one follows the sketch the closest.... Base is Baked Brown Sugar. The patterned paper is some I found at a local scrapping store. We love camping, and so I snatched it up!!
The circle is white cardstock, the scalloped circle is Chocolate Chip. Both were cut out with Spellbinder dies. The stamped images and sentiment are from an adorable set I got from my stampin friend Tina Riddle. It is a Taylored Expressions set called "S'more Fun'. I cut the little bear image from a little scrap of the patterned paper that I had left over.
The trees are cut out with the matching dies, some of them are popped up with dimentionals.
And now on to some of my other ideas with this sketch.....
Thanks again for stopping by!!
Hope you have a great week, and can find some time to join in our challenge!!

Thanks for stopping by to check out this week's Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge!!
As I have been shopping thru the new Stampin Up catalog, I am excited to see all the new goodies, but have been a bit sad at some of my favorites that are leaving. Among those favorites is Lost Lagoon. It ha been a good friend of mine for almost 2 years now.....sad to see it go!!
So, I had it in mind as I was trying to decide what to do for my card this week.....
I cut out a card base first, and then had to decide what to do on top of it. lol Crazy way to figure out a card, I think!! On top of the base is a layer of white which I ran thru a blossom embossing folder. Then I cut out some coordinating dsp squares.
Lastly I made a few banners, one in Lost Lagoon cardstock, on white with a sentiment stamped in same color. Curled the ends with my bone folder and stamped a few flowers in Daffodil Delight to finish it off.
On a side note, the photo Justin chose for this challenge banner is a place I happen to love!! Mount Moran, Grand Teton National Park, WY. We are actually planning a trip out there next month!! I haven't been there in about 8 years, and Titus has never been that far west. I can't wait to show him all my favorite places out there!!
Hope you enjoy my card. Please take some time to join this week's challenge!!
Thanks again for stopping by!!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the new challenge for this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper!!
So, I started yesterday by looking at my shelves of stamp sets, to see if anything jumped out at me..... and I grabbed Circle Circus, and this is what happened......
Funny how my plan went in a totally different direction today. lol Oh well, I am sure I will make use of those backgrounds, as I have an order for 10 birthday cards I really need to get done!!
My card base is the Chocolate Chip. I stamped the piece of Pool Party with the Hardwood stamp using Choc Chip ink. The flowers are cut with the Botanical Builder Framelits in the challenge colors. Some are finished off with coordinating candy dots.
For the sentiment, I sponged a wooden "Thanks" from the Expressions Natural Elements with the Choc Chip ink so it would coordinate better.
I curled up many of the flower edges with my bone folder before gluing them down...
I still am not loving these framelits as much as I thought I would, but do like how my card turned out.....even though it is SO not what I had planned yesterday!! :)
Hope you can find some time to join in our challenge this week.
Have a Blessed day!!

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card for the 47th challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper. Hard to believe we have been at this for almost a year already!!!
This week we have a fun challenge.....
I have been making a bunch of clean and simple cards lately, so this fits right in with my mojo as of late!! :)
For my card, I chose an oldie but goodie...... "Lovely as a Tree".
This set is such a "go to" for me!! It is so very versatile. I use it for many different things.
The sentiment is from "Bloom With Hope". I stamped both in Chocolate Chip. Then I colored in my tree with copic markers in Pea Green and Light Walnut. I shaded in a bit of sky behind my tree with Cool Shadow. I just wanted the sentiment to have a touch of whimsy, so I added a few little specks around it with a Baked Brown Sugar maker. My cardstock base is Pool Party, the under layer is Mossy Meadow.
Hope you enjoy my project.

This week, we have a tic-tac-toe board for you to start with.....
I went diagonally, starting with the top, right corner. Twine, birthday, and pink.
I have a little bit of this pretty twine left, and it seemed like the perfect chance to use it....
First, I used a stencil I made to block off all but a square, which I sponged in Blushing Bride. I then stamped a flower from Bloom With Hope, and the matching sentiments, in Memento black.
Clean and simple......
Thank you again for stopping by!! Hope you can find time to join our challenge this week!!
Make it a great day!!
