WWC87Masculine

This week's Watercooler Wednesday challenge looks fun!!

Any reason to ink up my favorite deer stamp is a good one!!
So, here I go......

The image is from an old favorite of mine "Remembering Christmas". The sentiment is from a Fiskars stamp set simply called "sentiments".  I stamped both in Dapper Denim. I fussy cut the deer, the sentiment is punched out with a retired punch whose name escapes me!!  lol   The card base and backing on top dsp layer is Tip Top Taupe. The dsp layers are from a dsp stack called Festival of Prints.  The ribbon is Early Espresso.

Hope you like my creation.
Make it a great day!!
Hug your pets.

Coffee

I must admit to not being a big coffee drinker...... unless it is iced coffee, YUM, or it is fall.
Because, come fall, here comes the Pumpkin Spice creamer!!  lol  We are barely in to the fall season, and I am on my second container of the PS goodness!!

I really like the idea of fall themed coffee cards, so had to try it out....

My card base and embossed layer are craft paper.. My large coffee cup and sentiment are from the retired "Perfect Blend" set.  The little wooden cup was bought at Hobby Lobby, I think....  The fall paper is pretty, and just a scrap piece from my stash, so not sure of origin.
The embossing folder is Tim Holtz.

A few Pretty Pink Posh sequins (I imagine them as the steam coming off my coffee) finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy crafting.
Hug your pets.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card for this week's Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge!!

This week is another sketch challenge, which are usually my very favorites!!
But, for some reason, I sure struggled with this one.  :(
This is the third card I made.  I decided to go simple, since nothing else seemed to be agreeing with me.

My tree, of course, is from my old and trusted "Lovely as a Tree".
I stamped it in Chocolate Chip, colored it in with some copics.

The sentiment is stamped in another favorite of mine, Cherry Cobbler.
It is from the "Six Sayings" stamp set.

Hope everyone has a great week!!
Happy crafting.
Hug your pets!!

CYCI138

I was inspired by this week's CYCI challenge to do a quick fall shaker card....

The base s Crushed Curry, the tree, stamped in Baked Brown Sugar, is from 'Branch Out'.
I cut a few fall leaves from a die by Impression Obsession, and put them in along with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

The sentiment is from 'Better Together'.

Hope you like it!!  Have a great day!!

WWC86

I happened upon the Watercooler Wednesday challenge, and just loved it!!

My card headed to the "Harvest" option of the challenge.

I have had this set for a while now.  It is from Our Craft Lounge and is called Bountiful Harvest.

The challenge called for simple stamping, no added embellishments, no extra layers.... I did mask off my barrel of corn, so my stalks are behind it, but other than that, it it just plain old stamping and coloring.  The images are stamped in Chocolate Chip on Very Vanilla cardstock. They are colored in with my copics and Stampin Up markers. The card base is Crushed Curry.

I love the idea of this challenge, and really like how this turned out.  Thank you WWC, for the inspiration!!

Happy crafting!!

SIP66

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project for this week's challenge......
I was excited for this challenge, I like to make other goodies once in a while, especially with Craft Fair season coming up!!

I had a few fry boxes lying around, just waiting for a purpose.....

We had a few bad days last week.  One of our fur kids, Sammi, was killed just west of our lawn by a pack of wolves that have been in our area. One of our other girls, Nikki, got some wounds in the backside, but she will be ok.  So, I made these boxes up as a Thank You to the girls at the vet clinic that took good care of puppy girls.

This first one is made with Crumb Cake cardstock. The punch art puppy is similar to one I saw on Pinterest.  I didn't have all the punches that person used, so I had to improvise a bit. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/331859066263850411/  That should take you to the post I saw..... if I did that right!!  The sentiment is from Ruff Day  :)

This box is Always Artichoke.  The face is stamped using Fun Faces, The purple monster and ghost are made using the Owl Punch.  For the monster's antennae, I used the bird punch.

This turkey turned out pretty adorable!!  It is a Unity stamp set, Build a Turkey. I fussy cut the images after stamping and glued them to the front of the fry box, which is Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The feather colors are Pear Pizzazz, Tangelo Twist, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, and Real Red. The turkey body is Crumb Cake.

This cutie is also Pumpkin Pie (now I want pie!!). The image is also from Fun Faces. The sentiment is from Spooktacular Greetings.  The stem for the pumpkin is from the Tree Builder Punch.

Titus went down to the vet office today to pick up insulin for our other girlie, Scout, and dropped off the fry boxes.  He said the girls liked em.  :)  Yay!!

This was our silly Sammi girl.  I sure miss her.  :(

Thank you for stopping by.
Make it a great day..... and hug your pets!!

BannerWreath

I am a hoarder of scraps.  There, I admit it.  lol
And, I am always looking for ways to use them up.
I saw something similar to this on a facebook post the other day, and thought it would be a great use of some of the little pieces of dsp I have floating around my crafty corner.

The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co. It is from the ".......like a Snowflake" set.
The snowflakes are from the Snow Flurry die.  The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.
The ribbon is Pool Party ruffled ribbon from SU.

The papers are a variety.....mostly Stampin Up, but a few are others that I have purchased locally.
I cut the strips in random widths, and random lengths, folded them in half, snipped the ends, and stapled them around a wreath ring that I had in my stash for making actual real Christmas wreaths.  Wreath season will be starting soon, and my basement will again resemble this.....

complete with my trusty helpers!!  :)

Make it a great day!!
And hug your pets.

SIP65

Hello!  Thanks for stopping by to check out this week's Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge!!

For this week's challenge, pick a color and run with it!!  :)
I went with a fave color of mine.... green!

My card base is Cucumber Crush, as is the polka dot dsp layer. On the white layer, I stamped a few images with a stamp from 'Circle Circus' in Cucumber Crush. The black and white dsp circles are made using the Everyday Chic dsp. The sentiment (cut with my Sunshine Wishes die) and the circle with the embossed stripes, are from the Color Me Irresistible dsp.  The other circles are cut out of paint swatch papers (which I have WAY too many of!!).

The polka dot layer and the white layer are cut using my stitched dies from Gina Steimel.  The circles are made using several circle punches. The sentiment and several circles are 'popped up' with dimensionals.

I finished it off with lots of sparkle, ie: sequins.  :)

Thanks again for stopping by!!
Hope you can find some time to join us!!

Make it a great day!!

SIP64

Hello there!!  And thanks for stopping by to check out our newest challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper!!

Here are a few of the many, many I made yesterday.....  lol

I love me some clean and simple!! I like how elegant they can look, how you can make them fun and casual, and...... how you can make them quickly!!

The images are from Endless Creations.  I love their stamps. They are a big contributor to our local spring stamping weekend that I look forward to every year.  They put together some awesome make n takes, and have the cutest stamps!!  The sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up set, 'Reguarding Dahlias'.  I colored the butterflies with copics and cut the layer out with my stitched dies from Gina Steimel.

This next one is made using a new stamp and some super fun bling I got in the mail from the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store.  Had to break em out right away!!

I immediately fell in love with the Aletnew stamp, Winter Cottage.  I stamped it in Chocolate Chip and paired it with a Unity sentiment.  I added a touch of blue to my sky and snow, finished it off with these awesome little shiny dots!!

Hope you enjoyed my creations!!
Make it a great week, and make some time to craft!!

A+Teacher

Today I did a quick card for my sister.  She is a high school English teacher, and started back to school yesterday.  She was a bit nervous about the new school year, so I thought I would mail this out today to cheer her up a bit!!!

I am playing along with two challenges which inspired my card.....

The theme is from canyoucaseit.com

And the layout is inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches

Here is what I came up with....

On to the white base, I sponged a strip of Old Olive n the bottom. Then cut my "apples" using my Swirly Scribbles thinlits. I added a leaf from the same set, and made my stem from the bird builder punch.  The sentiment, stamped in black, is from Unity Stamp Co,

Thanks for stopping by!!
Make it a great day!!
