Welcome to the Stampin Friend's Everything Fall Blog Hop!! If you are just hopping on, please be sure to continue thru to enjoy everyone's creations. If you arrived here from Kirsteen's blog, thank you for continuing on to my page.
We have three guest hoppers this month....
Barbara Welch, Kim Smith and Maria Willis
so, enjoy their creations along with the
regular hoppers!! :)
For my card, I wanted to try the 'baby wipe' technique I keep seeing. This is my first attempt, and I think I am hooked!! Love how my wreath turned out. Loved it so much, I made several, as you can see!! :)
And my project is a little golden pumpkin made with the Curvy Keepsake Die. The die is awesome. Mine gets a workout near the holidays!! :) There are so many cute ideas for using it. I simply tied some twine thru the handle, and tucked some leaves made with the bird punch into my pumpkin. The paper is Crushed Curry, and stamped with the Hardwood stamp in the same color.
Again, I LOVE how the wreath turned out!! The first one is attached to a layer of Delightful Dijon, stamped with the hardwood stamp inked in same color. The base is Mossy Meadow. I added a "Happy Birthday" banner, stamped in Blackberry Bliss. The sentiment is a Stampabilities stamp. I sponged the banner in Blackberry Bliss, and attached a matching bow. Used the fork method of tying the bow for the first time, and have to say it works fabulously!! You can find it on Pinterest. The flowers are punched out of Crushed Curry and sponged with the same, topped with some candy dots.
For this next one I attached the wreath to a brick wall made with Stampin Up's new embossing folder. Paper is Crumb Cake, and I sponged it with Crushed Curry. It is attached to a layer of Mossy Meadow, and the base is Crumb Cake. I looped some twine behind this bow. Left the bow (Hello Honey) longer and tucked the ends in behind the wreath. This sentiment is a Northwoods stamp, inked with Crushed Curry and sponged.
The base on this last one is Tip Top Taupe, with a strip of Mossy Meadow and a strip of Crushed Curry (stamped with the Hardwood again inked in same color). This one got some Sisal Twine looped around it, attached with dimentionals, and I added some rhinestones for a bit of twinkle.
Hope you enjoyed my creations for fall. Please continue on to Elizabeth's page. I am sure she has something wonderful in store for you.
Make it a great day!
Happy crafting!!
Lisa
