I am hopping along with the OSAT blog hoppers this month.
The theme is "Birthday Bash", inspired, I imagine, by the fact that our fearless leader, Andrea Tracy-Tucker, has a birthday this month. She will be turning 29, again, I believe!! :)
I took this opportunity to play some more with my "taco truck". I love this Tasty Truck set, and love tacos even more, so I have changed the name of the set in my head..... lol
So, my original idea was for a little cupcake holder. The local grocery store has pretty good cupcakes, so I talked myself in to buying some. I happened to get some with purple in the frosting, so this is why my project became purple....I took this opportunity to play some more with my "taco truck". I love this Tasty Truck set, and love tacos even more, so I have changed the name of the set in my head..... lol
So, I began with the cupcake box. I used Wisteria Wonder, and some retired dsp to create it. The band I started with to form the box is 2" high, each side is 3" wide. I used the retired Two Tags die (which I just received from the wonderful Tina Riddle!!) to make the taller sides because I wanted a little curve and detail to the sides. I punched the tags with a small star punch to add some detail....my original idea was to add some balloon cutouts, but they just didn't look right...
On the front, I attached the Tasty Truck, and on the back....
the rest of the sentiment and a little ribbon detailing.
My card base is Wisteria Wonder. And I again made a little truck for the front. For the background I repeatedly stamped the truck in Wisteria Wonder ink.
I also made a little treat bag. I must admit that I am unsure if the bag is Stampin Up, or if it is one I purchase from a local craft store (I have both). :)
Again, I stamped the little truck and colored it with copics. It is all ready to be filled with goodies!!
Thank you for stopping by to check out my goodies!! I hope you are having a wonderful day!!
Hug your pets.
